What are the things that are changing?

1.Proportion of question from each domain

In the new format instead of treating Professional and Social responsibility as a separate domain it is tested as an integrated part of project manager’s day to day work (tested on all the five domains).
For the new exam, we have to understand the effects of Professional and Social Responsibility on our daily tasks. Exam questions will ask about ethical considerations during procurement, have questions social responsibility related to team management and test your application of professional responsibility in a written status report.

Reason for Change

Every five to seven years the Project Management Institute performs a role delineation study to determine the roles and responsibilities of the current project manager. PMI use these findings to update the PMP exam. This ensures that PMP exam is in alignment with the roles and responsibilities of project managers.
